Both buckles are functional rather than decorative, the sole has real depth for a little extra height, and the footbed is cushioned for pavement miles rather than just poolside steps.

Wear them with socks and joggers in the transitional months, or bare with a midi dress in summer. Chunky sliders took the ugly sandal crown and never gave it back.
